Halloween in the NYC Subway
11/12/2024
Dressing up on October 31 is nearly an NYC must, whether for the parade in Greenwich Village or just going about your business. This Halloween, we sent a photographer underground to capture costumed subway riders heading to their destinations in the five boroughs. The looks were spooky, fun and everything in between; most of all, they illustrated the creativity and resourcefulness emblematic of the City—always the case but particularly so on this holiday. Scroll down to see New Yorkers bringing the Halloween spirit to life. (Note: the time stamps are all Eastern Time, and yes, many of these were taken in mid-to-late afternoon! Check out the rest of our Halloween coverage.)
